Sunday is the last day of screenings at Kino Lumière for One World, Bratislava's international documentary film festival. It is now in its 27th year.12

This year's theme is Connection. The organisers chose a ribbon as the festival's visual motif, an image of what can tie people together and what can also hold them back.23

Watching from home

For those who missed the cinema week, a selection of festival films will be available online from 26 October to 1 November with a Cinepass Online.13

Besides the films, the programme included discussions with filmmakers and experts and side events for children and adults. The festival is organised by the non-profit Človek v ohrození, or People in Need.2
